For the first time, a Brazilian company was awarded at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, one of the most important corporate film festivals in the world. Our History and Day to Reflect won in the categories of Marketing Communication and Integrated Communication, respectively.
The competition was large: Vale’s videos were up against 666 entries from 35 countries. The jury of the corporate films consisted of Oscar and Emmy winners, experts in media and corporate image, as well as marketing and communication professionals.
In addition to receiving the two awards, represented by the Gold Dolphin, Vale won the top trophy: the Grand Prix, represented by the White Dolphin. The company established itself as the first company outside continental Europe to receive the Grand Prix. The awards gala was held on October 18, in Palm Beach Cannes, France.
