MEDIA RELEASE: Global Presence for Fuller Industrial – Bagdad and Mongolia on the Map

JUNE 11TH 2012

Fuller Industrial, in Sudbury Ontario, is shipping trucks full of rubber lined pipe fitting to Bagdad. Bagdad Arizona that is.

The rubber lined pipe and fittings manufactured at Fuller’s  is part of an upgrade to the 75,000 metric ton per day concentrator at the Freeport McMoRan (FXC) company owned town.

Rubber lining protects and extends the life of the pipe from the abrasive slurry transported throughout the concentrator.
Bagdad is an open-pit copper and molybdenum mining about 100 miles northwest of Phoenix Arizona.

The project is one of several projects being delivered by Fuller and is part of a string of current and upcoming jobs in the United States, Canada, and the world.

With all the bad news about the demise of the small innovative Canadian companies, Fuller Industrial, in Sudbury Ontario continues to buck the trend.

After a recent consolidation , Fuller Industrial continues with strong growth both domestically and Internationally  and  the company is shipping to 4 continents and 8 countries.

“We are shipping to places as close as our home town of Sudbury, Ontario, for the Vale’s Complex Ore Recovery, or CORe project and as far as Mongolia for massive the Ivanhoe/Rio Tinto project in Mongolia.”

Closer to home, Fuller is substantially finished Detour Gold’s new mill in Detour Lake, Northwest of Cochrane, Ontario and has and is enjoying continued success across Canada and the United States for their niche market of fabrication and rubber lining of pipe for mining and energy projects.

Farthest abroad, The Oyu Tolgoi project in Mongolia, started with all the rubber lined pipe and fittings for the 100 ton per day concentrator and now they are supplying operational spares and are gearing up for a proposed twinning of the massive mill.

Fuller is also shipping into two Central American Projects, one in South America and one in Russia.
